2008 Wrap Up

2008 was a great year for music as far as I'm concerned. A lot of people want to equate poor sales to bad music, but the two have nothing to do with each other. Originally I was only going to do a list of 20, but I started to realize that there were too many great albums that I was leaving out and decided to compile a list of 50. I was looking at a lot of the best of lists that are out already, including Rollingstone's, and noticed that no matter what website it was there was one album that kept coming up. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 3 was on just about every list that I looked at. From alternative sites to indie blogs, Lil Wayne's latest efforts was recognized as one of the best this year. Well there's no surprise that he made mine, but take a look at the rest of the 49 albums on there with him.
