When I saw the trailer for this I wasn't sure what it was, all I knew was that I wanted to see it. Black Dynamite is a new millennium blaxploitation movie that features Michael Jai White (of Spawn fame) and is basically typical to all of the films of this genre. The synopsis reads:
When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
The movie looks pretty authentic from the trailer, looks like something Tarantino would do. I just hope they don't make a mockery of the genre...if that's possible.
